Judgement House – Abducted – LFBC 2015 - Thank You VOLUNTEERS

Judgement House – Abducted – LFBC 2015
Thank You VOLUNTEERS

In 1999, Locust Fork Baptist Church began their Judgement House ministry.  So your first question may be, What is Judgement House?

From Judgementhouse.org:  Judgement House is a walk-through drama that presents the truth of people's choices versus the consequences of those decisions both in this life and the next.  No other tool is more effective at presenting the gospel and giving individuals the opportunity to choose a personal and saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to be an actor in Judgement House.  I have played an extra, a dead person, a nurse, a demon and an angel.  This year I was asked to head up the Prayer Team.  At first, I was super excited about not having to dress up.  Secondly, I was happy to be able to be a part of something so amazing.  Heading up the Prayer Team also led to helping with the Leadership Team.  It gave me a front row seat to all things Judgement House.

I was on staff at Locust Fork Baptist Church for 4 years.  Working at a church and serving is hard work.  There are a lot of long hours put into most everything that is done.  I always was so grateful to those that volunteered with anything we did, because I believe without them a church could not and would not run properly.

Until I was married, working a full time job and volunteering at a church, I never truly understood the sacrifices that people made.  My appreciation and understanding grew immensely.

This year we had well over 330 volunteers that took part in our Judgement House This was six nights of live performances.  Prior to the live performances there were months of planning and preparation and weeks of rehearsals.  From beginning to end, we were blessed to have so many people commit their time to Judgement House, from children to senior adults, from the Director to each volunteer. Without them Judgement House would have NOT been possible.

To those that helped with our Judgement House:
I am so grateful for you.  I am thankful for all your hard work.  Thank you for taking time away from your family to direct scenes, register people, hang tarps, build walls, guide groups, watch the parking lot, drive buses, act, sell shirts, make and bring food, pray, counsel people, decorate, memorize lines, knock on doors, and everything in between.  Without each one of you, Judgement House would not be possible.

1963 walked through Judgement House because you volunteered.
92 people were prayed with because you volunteered.
256 recommitted their lives to the Lord because you volunteered.
200 people now will spend eternity with the Lord, because you volunteered.

You were a vital part in making our 2015 Judgement House a success.

Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you!!

Here is a little bit of our 2015 Judgement House.  Thank you to Jimmy "Poppy" Culpepper for taking pictures (with a few added from our workers).
