What is your favorite Christmas memory as a child?

What is your favorite Christmas memory as a child?????

A lot of my memories run together as a child.  It is hard for me to remember an age or a favorite toy.  But two things always stand out for me:

#1 - Singing on the way to and from my Mimi's house.  We would sing Elvis to the top of our lungs, okay maybe it was just me singing really loud.  :)

#2 - As soon as I got to my Mimi and Grandads, me and my cousin Bill would go to the Christmas tree and scout out our presents.  Then we would try to convince the adults we should open presents BEFORE supper. It never worked.  And finally when the evening came and supper was cleaned up, me and my cousins would play Santa's helper and pass out all the gifts.  We normally started with the youngest and opened one gift at a time.  It wasn't chaotic, it was enjoyable.  Watching everyone open their gifts.

Now that I am older, I still scout out my presents and sing at the top of my lungs.  But I savor the time a little more.
